Today we kicked off the show with Danny Gokey’s song, ‘New Day,’ which says, “this is a new day, everything’s bursting with hope…” and I started thinking, do we really feel that way? Sometimes, don’t we have to intentionally CHOOSE hope? That’s the topic of today’s Monday Motivation from author Lisa Samra. You can find the link to Our Daily Bread by clicking here.
Congratulations to Jackie from Mount Vernon, who guessed the top two answers correctly and wins the $5 gift card to Everlasting Cup.
Today Joe and I brought you some Monday Motivation, but with this weather, you may have not needed it!
I shared about a Francis Chan Sermon I listened to on Sunday. He shared about about these verses, John 16:7 “I tell you the truth. It is better for you that I go away. If I do not go, the Helper will not come to you. If I go, I will send Him to you.” And Luke 12:11 – 12 “When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.” Here is the link to that Sermon!
