Welcome into the first Artist Newsday, Gametime Tuesday of December!

Today we shared some artist news and played some games as well!

For news, we shared from our friend Meredith Andrews about her upcoming album!
She will be releasing a new album in March of 2019, it’s called her “Faith and Wonder” EP. Meredith was called away from her major – family and child development – her Junior year at Liberty University while leading worship. “It was like the Lord just dropped something into my spirit saying ‘This is it. This is it! This is what I called you to do.’ I remember thinking, ‘This is the thing that makes me feel most alive.’ It is also the thing I feel like the Lord takes the most delight in, and I feel closest to Him when I’m doing it.”
We’re anticipating new music from this amazing artist!

Our friends Sanctus Real recently sat down with Jesus Freak Hideout and talked about their new album “Changed” which includes the popular song “Confidence”.
Dustin, lead vocalist of Sanctus Real talked about the themes that are present in this new album: “I love talking about God’s love and I feel like it’s deeper a lot of times than we mention it. We kind of make it this emotional thing but it’s the thing that, to me, gives us our value and gives us our worth. It’s so secure and stable and it goes back to the idea of being OK in difficult situations. So I’m probably to blame for a lot of the love talk. But to me the Bible does say, “God is love” and so love kind of is God.”

Congratulations to our Name that Tune winner that is also winning the two tickets to see For King and Country at their “Little Drummer Boy” tour in Columbus!
Debbie from Mt. Vernon correctly guessed that our Name that Tune song was “Hope is what we Crave”! She’ll be seeing For King and Country!

Congrats also to our Song Poetry winner, Maude from Mt. Vernon!
Our lyrics were…
“They’ll beat you up
But don’t let them keep you down
‘Cause you’ll always toughen up
And I’ll always be around”

Thanks for listening!
