If you’re weren’t aware, October is PIZZA MONTH! Oh yes!

Our mystery question for today was:

“If you ordered a pizza with “The Works”, name a topping you would expect on it…”

Survey says?
1.Pepperoni (33)
2. Onions (27)
3. Mushrooms (14)
4. Sausage (10)
5. Olives (6)
6. Anchovies (3)

Congratulation to Sally from Mt. Vernon who correctly guessed the top two answers to our mystery question and won that $5 gift card to Troyer’s of Apple Valley!
Woooo man oh man that was a tough one, but we got a winner! Yes!

And it’s not the Drive until we share some recipes with you, is it?

Of course, we’re going to tell you our favorites!
Lilly’s pick? Memphis, baby.
Stretch dough into a 15-by-9-inch rectangle. Top with cooked chicken, 1/4 cup barbecue sauce, scallions, pickled jalapeños and 1 cup shredded cheddar. Bake until golden. Here’s what makes it Memphis that the recipe doesn’t tell you…
You gotta add coleslaw. Storebought is fine, but I suggest hommade!
Go Downhome with the Neely’s and try this recipe!
Malisa’s pie of choice? Baked Ziti Pizza!
Watchya do… Press dough into an oiled 15-inch pizza pan. Drizzle with olive oil, then top with 1/2 cup tomato sauce and 2 cups shredded mozzarella. Bake, then garnish with pecorino, dried oregano and olive oil. Top with ziti and more cheese before baking.

Want a breakfast twist? Of course you do! Check out this bacon-egg pizza!
Stretch dough into four 6-inch rounds. Top each with diced raw bacon; bake until crisp. Crack an egg onto each crust and top with olive oil, salt and pepper; bake until the eggs set. Top with baby greens

And a fall take on a comfort classic? Why not?
An easy apple cheddar pizza!
Stretch dough into two thin 9-inch rounds. Brush each with olive oil and season with salt; top with 1 sliced apple, 1 teaspoon fresh thyme and 1 cup shredded cheddar. Bake until golden; top with crumbled bacon and maple syrup.

We’re gonna get bougie real quick. Here’s the recipe for a ham and brie pizza!
Press dough into an oiled 8-inch square pan. Top with 2 ounces sliced ham, 3 ounces sliced brie and 1/2 thinly sliced green apple. Add olive oil, salt and pepper. Bake until golden. You can swap out the ham for prosciutto to make it even more bougie.

Gotta get a pizza in there for my little sister. Megan Kara, this one’s for you.
Pineapple does belong on pizza. So here’s a Hawaiian recipe!
Stretch dough into a 15-inch round. Top with 1/2 cup each tomato sauce, shredded mozzarella and diced pineapple, 2 ounces sliced ham, and red pepper flakes; bake until golden.
